Our Story: The Heart of Caaoacan Beach Front, Laoag
In the heart of Caaoacan Beach Front, Laoag, our resort stands as a testament to love, heritage, and a shared mission. It all began when Peter, a Belgian scientist, met Shella, a teacher with deep Ilocano roots and a passion for design, in the vibrant streets of Manila. Their connection was instant, transcending borders and cultures. Together, they embarked on a journey that would not only unite their lives but also inspire them to give back to the Filipino community.
Peter would inspire Shella, whom holds a bachelor's degree in education, to obtain her teaching license, Shella specializing in early childhood, eventually obtained her license and is now teaching grade six, she is also a talented fashion designer with a love for Ilocano crafts.
Peter has a background in molecular medicine and is currently involved in development projects focusing on sustainable community initiatives. Inspired by Shella her encouragements to grow his business across south-asia, Peter eventually created Shella`s Leisure Group, together with Shella.
Shella`s Leisure group is a commercial group currently active across several sectors. As their family grew , and while raising their daughter, Thalia, Peter and Shella felt a deep calling to help people connect with Filipino heritage. They envisioned a place where people could celebrate their culture while embracing sustainable living. This dream blossomed into Shellas' Sunkissed Escape at Caaoacan Beach Front, offering accommodations, eco-friendly vehicle rentals, and immersive eco-tours showcasing the beauty of Laoag and Ilocos Norte.
