Topoi for Photons: A Categorical Formulation of Electromagnetic Duality
Abstract
We propose a categorical formulation of electromagnetic (Maxwell) duality by identifying a class
of Grothendieck topoi whose internal cohomological data encode electric and magnetic sectors and
admit a canonical duality isomorphism.
