Abstract
This paper explores a novel approach to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) drug discovery through the
directed evolution of the BpsA carrier protein domain. By enhancing its activation by
non-cognate PPTases, the research aims to generate new bioactive compounds with therapeutic
relevance for ASD.
