On a Newfound Panorama in Geometry and Category Theory: A Tribute to Grothendieck
Abstract
This paper pays homage to Alexander Grothendieck, revisiting his foundational contributions to
topos theory, motives, and schemes through the lens of modern mathematics. It explores how
concepts like ∞-categories, derived algebraic geometry, and homotopy type theory extend and
reframe Grothendieck’s unifying vision.
